Profiles Overview [eBay]

Before sending and making connections between products on Shopify and eBay, Salestio needs to know the rules that will be used to export Shopify Products to eBay listings.

Such rules are called 'Profiles' in Salestio. Profiles are split into four sections for eBay integration.

Global profiles — include general settings related to QTY, Price. These global settings are shared among various integration channels like Amazon, for example.
Ebay profiles — include eBay channel-specific settings, for example, 'Listing Type', 'Listing Duration'. These settings are not shared across all channels and are only specific to eBay.
Creation profiles — include the category details to extend existing eBay listings, or to create completely new listings on eBay.
Store mapping profiles — similar to Creation profiles. Necessary for custom categories in an eBay Store.
Description templates — include the fields and information added to the Description on the eBay listing page.
Price Templates — include custom rules to convert Shopify prices to eBay prices.

Global profiles

You can find the following information under the 'Global Profiles' tab within the list of created profiles.

Name of the profile — this name will be shown across Salestio as the representation of this global configuration profile.
Price mode — price mode selected for the profile.
QTY mode — qty mode in the specific profile.
Additionally, you might see
- Price value — custom price for the item.
- Price ratio — ratio used as multiplicator to the product price (*2,*1.2, etc).

eBay Profiles

You can find the following information under the 'eBay Profiles' tab within the list of created profiles.

Name of the profile — this name will be shown across Salestio as the representation of this eBay profile.
Marketplace mode — specific eBay marketplace (US, CA, UK, etc.) or any available marketplace.

Creation Profiles

You can find the following information under the 'Creation Profiles' tab within the list of created profiles.

Name of the profile — this name will be shown across Salestio as the representation of this Creation profile, for example on the eBay profile form.
Marketplace — specific eBay marketplace (US, CA, UK, etc.) where the new products and/or variations will be exported.

Store mapping profiles

Name of the profile — this name will be shown across Salestio as the representation of this Store mapping profile.

Description Templates

You can find the following information under the 'Description Templates' tab within the list of the added description templates.

Name of the profile — this name will be shown across Salestio as the representation of this Description Template, for example on the Selling List form.

Name of the template — this name will be shown across Salestio as the representation of this Price Template.
