How fast Amazon orders appear on Shopify

Salestio pulls the orders once they become fully Paid meaning when they appear as Unshipped in the Orders pages from the seller's side.

Depending on the subscription plan, it can be from 5 minutes (Business and higher) or 15 minutes (Grower), and up to 1 hour (Free-to-install)

Once a buyer places the order, the order does not appear in the Unshipped section of the Orders from the seller's view.

The order appears as Pending. During this time, Amazon authorizes the buyer’s payment method, and fraud checks and address validation may run. Inventory is soft-reserved (not fully committed yet) at this point. So, the order exists, but is not yet confirmed since payment has NOT been fully captured.

The Pending lasts from a few minutes to several hours. In very rare cases, it can last up to 24 hours. This is the maximum from Amazon.

What's important here is that the Order Created Date is shown when the customer places the order, despite the payment not yet being fully captured.

See the example:

10:00 Buyer clicks “Place Order”
       → Order Created Date = 10:00
       → Status = Pending
10:24 Amazon completes payment capture
→ Status changes to Unshipped (Paid)
10:25 Seller can see and ship the order

Even though the seller first sees the order at 10:24–10:25, the Created Date stays 10:00.
