Amazon Settings
Salestio allows adding multiple Amazon accounts. That is why some of the settings are specific to the selected Amazon account.
Amazon Accounts settings are not available till you add at least one Amazon account to Salestio. You can do so under Salestio > Accounts or by clicking the "Plus" icon in front of "Amazon accounts" from the Salestio > Settings page.
Once the Amazon account is connected to Salestio, you can configure the specific settings. To do so, go to Salestio > Settings and switch to the added Amazon account tab from the left side menu.
Amazon Orders Import
Available options:
- Import Amazon Orders to Shopify
This option is selected by default. The orders will start importing from the date you connect your account to Salestio.
You can uncheck the option if you would like to stop importing Amazon orders to Shopify. Please note that the orders are still imported to Salestio. However, they are not created in Shopify. You can manually trigger order creation in Shopify from the Salestio Orders details page. You can find more information in the following article on how to view Amazon orders in Salestio.
- Import Amazon Orders type
The default option is "Only Merchanf Fulfillment Network (MFN) orders". Here you can choose if you want to import only FBA, only FBM, or both types of orders. Keep in mind that FBA orders are fully managed by Amazon, so Salestio will not update fulfillment for this order type. FBA orders can be imported to Shopify solely for the purposes of tracking inventory.
You can customize how the customer email looks after import:
- In the order: no changes will be made
- No email: email will be deleted
- With selected email: all orders will have an email specified in the field below
- With selected custom domain: all orders will retain the original email and the domain will be replaced with the one specified in the field below
- With selected custom domain and order id: all orders will use Amazon order ID as the email and the domain will be replaced with the one specified in the field below
Remember to click the Save button after you update the Settings.
Item Synchronization
Salestio automatically synchronizes quantities and prices for the connected listings. You can modify this behavior in the Item Synchronization settings. Available options:
- Update Amazon Item QTY when it has changed in Shopify
- Update Amazon Item Price when it has changed in Shopify
Both options are selected by default. Once the products are connected via the Selling Lists, Salestio automatically synchronizes these options.
Please note if you disable any of the options and you are trying to add new products to your Seller Central inventory, they will be added with 0 prices and 0 qty. It might lead to the case when the products are inactive in Seller Central. In this case, you will need to manually add the needed data in Seller Central.
Salestio offers flexible price and quantity synchronization options. You can find more information on them in the articles on Synchronization.
If you modify any settings here, click the Save button to submit the changes.
SKU mapping file
SKU mapping defines the relationship between specified Amazon SKUs and Shopify SKUs. This mapping is useful when you already have active inventory on Amazon, but the SKUs don't match your Shopify inventory.
To configure your SKU mapping, create a spreadsheet with two columns: Shopify SKU and the corresponding Amazon SKU. You can use any other tool that allows creating CSV files for this. Check an example table for a SKU mapping:
If you are selling your items through Amazon Fulfillment Network (FBA) alongside your own listings, you can add the same Shopify SKU twice and map it to two different Amazon products. Mapping your products like this will allow you to receive FBA orders in Shopify for the porposes of keeping the inventory updated. In this case, specify the FBM SKU for one line and the FBA SKU for the other line. To make use of this, importing of AFN orders has to be enabled in Salestio settings.
After configuring the table, save it as a CSV file and upload it on the Salestio settings page for your Amazon account.
