Buyer Protection Fee on eBay
In some cases, the item price displayed on the listing page from the buyer's view might be different than the item price shown from the seller's eBay account. This happens because eBay shows buyers the price which includes the Buyer Protection fee.
Buyer Protection fee is a separate fee charged to the buyers by eBay. This is a separate service that includes 24/7 Customer support, Private sellers paid after delivery and Secure transaction.
This fee is applied to the listings published by UK-based private sellers. If a listing is published by business sellers, they will not include this additional cost to buyers.
Because of the Buyer Protection fee, Salestio users might see a different price on the eBay storefront compared to the expected price. The listing price set by Salestio can always be checked directly on seller's eBay account. The Buyer Protection fee is added by eBay when showing the listing price to potential buyers.
To review the listing price details from the eBay storefront, attempt to add the item to the Cart, and check more details below the price entry.
