Salestio Settings
Much of Salestio's functionality works with the default configuration. If you would like to customize your Salestio installation to work better with your requirements, you can do so under the Settings page. To customize Salestio, go to Salestio > Settings from the top menu in the app.
The Settings page consists of the following blocks:
- Salestio Settings
- Amazon Settings
This article explains the details of how to configure Salestio Settings. These settings are applied to all integrations regardless of the selected marketplace. For the marketplace-specific settings, check the respective articles.
Email Notifications
Salestio gives you the ability to receive email notifications if anything goes wrong with the listings and order updates. The email notifications are disabled by default.
You can receive email notifications on the following events:
- Failed order import. The most common reasons for failed order import are missing SKUs or insufficient stock in BigCommerce. If you enable this notification, Salestio will send you an email every time the order import fails including the reason.
- Failed fulfillment status on Amazon or eBay. After you fulfill the order in BigCommerce, Salestio sends the fulfillment back to Amazon and eBay. The fulfillment might not go through if some of the fulfillment details are missing, for example, if the order status is updated but a tracking code is not added.
After you check at least one of the options, Salestio offers you to add the email address where you would like to receive the notifications to. Enter the preferred address. It can be different from the BigCommerce email address.
Remember to save the changes after you are done with the edits.
Amazon Settings
Salestio allows adding multiple Amazon accounts. That is why some of the settings are specific to the selected Amazon account.
Amazon Accounts settings are not available till you add at least one Amazon account to Salestio. You can do so under Salestio > Accounts or by clicking the "Plus" icon in front of "Amazon accounts" from the Salestio > Settings page.
Once the Amazon account is connected to Salestio, you can configure the specific settings. To do so, go to Salestio > Settings and switch to the added Amazon account tab from the left side menu.
Amazon Orders Import
Available option:
- Import Amazon Orders to BigCommerce
This option is selected by default. The orders are starting importing from the date you connect your account to Salestio.
You can uncheck the option if you would like to stop importing Amazon orders to BigCommerce. Please note that the orders are still imported to Salestio. However, they are not created in BigCommerce. You can manually trigger order creation in BigCommerce from the Salestio Orders details page. You can find more information in the following article on how to view Amazon orders in Salestio.
Remember to click the Save button after you update the Settings.
Email address on the imported orders
By default, the orders are imported to BigCommerce with the same email address as on the Amazon order. Amazon hides the customer's email in the cyphered format. However, you can still change the option of how email addresses are shown in your BigCommerce store.
You can skip adding the email address, add the specific email address, or set the custom domain of how the email addresses from the orders will appear in BigCommerce.
Item Synchronization
Salestio runs automatic synchronization of quantities and prices for the connected listings. You can modify this behavior in the Item Synchronization settings. Available options:
- Update Amazon Item QTY when it has changed in BigCommerce
- Update Amazon Item Price when it has changed in BigCommerce
Both options are selected by default. Once the products are connected via the Selling Lists, Salestio runs the automatic synchronization of these options.
Please note if you disable any of the options and you are trying to add new products to your Seller Central inventory, they will be added with 0 prices and 0 qty. It might lead to the case when the products are inactive in Seller Central. In this case, you will need to manually add the needed data in Seller Central.
Salestio offers flexible price and quantity synchronization options. You can find more information on them in the articles on Synchronization.
