Manage Selling List [Amazon]

To manage the existing Selling List please open Salestio Amazon integration from the Shopify admin page and navigate to the Selling List menu. Then you should click the 'View' button next close to the Selling List you want to modify.

You are also redirected to this page after creating a new Selling List.

Every Selling List includes the list of Shopify products and the information about their status on the selected Amazon Marketplace.

Please note that the 'Add Products' button on this page is available only if the Selling List is in the 'Products' mode. If the selling list in the 'Collections' mode, this button will not be available. The only way to change the list of available products is to update the list of connected collections.

Available columns for products in the Selling List table:
  • Product — Product name, list of possible warnings, and errors when available.
  • Options list — list of various options available in specific products
  • Status — current status of the Selling List product variant. Based on the status, various actions can be taken upon the item. Below is the list of available:
    • Not Linked — the item in the Selling List is not linked to the Amazon item. To successfully link the item, it is required that the Shopify product SKU is assigned to the Amazon Item. The only actions available with this item are “Send to Amazon” and “Stop & Remove”
    • Linked — the item in the Selling List is connected to an Amazon item. The possible actions are  “Update QTY”, “Update Price”, “Update QTY & Price”, “Stop”, “Stop & Remove”
    • Linking Error — linking operation failed with an error. Detailed information about the error can be found in the Logs. The actions available in this state are “List” and “Remove”
    • Pending Linking — it is an active but not completed operation of the connection of the Selling List Product to the Amazon Item. All actions in the state are blocked. 
    • Pending QTY Update — it is an active but not completed operation of transferring QTY update from the Selling List Product to the Amazon Item. All actions in the state are blocked. 
    • Pending Price Update — it is an active but not completed operation of transferring the Price update from the Selling List Product to the Amazon Item. All actions in the state are blocked. 
    • Pending QTY & Price Update — it is an active but not completed operation of transferring QTY & Price update from the Selling List Product to the Amazon Item. All actions in the state are blocked. 
    • Update Error — the operation of transferring an update from the Shopify product to the Amazon item resulted in an error. Detailed information about the error can be viewed from the Selling List product log. The actions available for this item are  “Update QTY”, “Update Price”, “Update QTY & Price”, “Stop”, “Stop & Remove”.
    • Pending Product Stop — it is an active but not completed operation of transferring QTY = 0 updates to the Amazon product (e.g. Stop sales).  All actions in the state are blocked. 
    • Stopped  — Selling List product is in the Stopped state and is not available for Sale (QTY = 0). The actions available for this item are  “QTY Revise”, “Update Price”, “Update QTY & Price”, “Stop”, “Stop & Remove”
    • Pending Product Stop & Remove — it is an active but not completed operation of transferring QTY = 0 updates to the Amazon product (e.g. Stop sales) and the item is requested to be removed from the Selling List. All actions in the state are blocked. 
  • Variation status — Price, QTY, and publishing status information about specific variation items.
  • Action buttons —  the 'Logs' button allows you to check the detailed log for a specific product (including all variations)
Information about the required details for Shopify Products:
  • SKU — Shopify product variant SKU data.  It is exported to Amazon as an Amazon item SKU.
  • ASIN — Amazon Standard Identification Number assigned to the selected products. ASIN code for the product is assigned based on the EAN/UPC code of the variation. Salestio works only with products that currently exist on Amazon
  • EAN/UPC — Barcode of the product variant. It is required information to connect the Shopify Product to the Amazon item. A product cannot be linked to the Amazon item without having EAN/UPC code.

Bulk actions with Selling List products

When one or a few products in the Selling list are selected, it is possible to run a bulk operation with the selected items.

Here is the list of the available bulk operations:
  • Send to Amazon — allows sending to Amazon multiple Selling List products that are in the 'Not Linked' status. The connection between Shopify product SKU and Amazon item ASIN code is established during this operation. If the items are successfully connected, the information about the QTY and Price is also transferred. The Shopify product must have SKU and UPC or EAN code for its variations
  • Update QTY  — transfers QTY update to Amazon. The product inside the Selling List should be in the 'Linked' status.
  • Update Price — transfers Price update to Amazon. The product inside the Selling List should be in the 'Linked' status.
  • Update QTY & Price  — transfers QTY and Price update to Amazon. The product inside the Selling List should be in 'Linked' status.
  • Stop listing — transfers QTY update with the “Zero” value to Amazon. The product inside the Selling List should be in the 'Linked' status.
  • Stop & Remove — if the items are in the 'Linked' status, it transfers the QTY update with a “Zero” value to Amazon. After the operation is finished, the selected products are removed from the Selling List. If the products are in the 'Not Linked' state, it just removes them from the Selling List.
  • Remove — Only removes the item from the Selling list. If the item was in "Linked" status, it will remain active on Amazon.
