Installation to Dependent Store
Salestio — Multi-store Sync is an app that allows syncing products from one Shopify store to another one or to multiple stores.
The target store to which the data is synced is called the Dependent Store. It is possible to connect multiple Dependent Stores to one Main Store.
The Dependent Stores allows configuring what product data will be synced from the Main store. More on setting up the Syncing Preferences will be described later in this article.
Install the app to the Dependent Store
The app can be installed and configured on the Dependent Store only after it is installed on the Main Store.
Locate the app in the Shopify App Store and click Install. Review the app's permissions and click the Install button.
Note! If you use the Start installation link from the Main Store, you will be automatically redirected to install the app in your Dependent Store.

There are several ways how the app can be installed in the Dependent Store.
Multi-store Sync is installed from the Shopify App Store.
Once the app is installed, you will be presented with an Onboarding flow. On the first screen, you can see the app description and how the stores are differentiated between Main and Dependent.
Review the Welcome message and click "Get Started".
On the next screen, you can define the store ad Dependent. Switch the radio button to the "Use this store as Dependent Store" option. You will need to enter the Connection Key from the Main store to proceed with installation and configuration. The Connection Key can be obtained from the Onboarding screen or from the Settings page on the Main store.
Enter the Connection Key and click "Connect".
Enter the Connection Key from the Main Store and "Connect" Multi-store Sync is installed from the Shopify App Store and the Main store sends the invitation from the Onboarding Screen or the Settings page.
Accept the invitation from the Main Store In this case, the confirmation screen will appear as an Onboarding step on the Dependent store. Here you can accept the invitation from the Main store. The Connection Key is not needed in this case.
Click the "Accept and set up syncing preferences" button to proceed to the Synchronization preferences.
Configure Syncing Preferences on the Dependent Store
The Product Sync app gives the preferences to the Dependent store to set up the synchronization. Possible syncing options in the app:
- Sync all product data (including creating new products). If this option is selected, all products are synced from the Main Store to the Dependent Store. It includes product creation in the Dependent Store.
- Sync only products that exist in both stores, matched by SKU. Selecting this option supports sending product data only for the stores that exist in both Main and Dependent Stores. Locating the same products is done based on matching SKUs.
- Sync quantity. If this option is selected, the quantities will be synced for the products that exist in both stores. To sync quantities, you can also configure the Location Mapping under the app Settings. If nothing is configured, the Default Location from both stores is used.
- Sync price. If this option is selected, only the prices will be synced for the matching products. The matching products are located based on SKUs.

Configuring Syncing preferences is optional at this point. You can click "Skip for now", and later configure syncing preferences under the Settings in the Dependent Store.
Once the set up is finished, click Save Settings. You will be redirected to the Dashboard.
